Mund’s personal platform as Miss North Dakota was “Make-A-Wish Passion with Fashion,” and she was a “Certified Wish Granter” with the Make-A-Wish organization.”I think one thing people don’t realize is that Make-A-Wish children are often Children’s Miracle Network children,” Mund said. “While Children’s Miracle Network saves children’s lives, Make-A-Wish can enhance it.”

A new pageant is in town folks!

Miss & Mrs Megaverse an international personality contest and & reality TV program coming to Punta Cana the second week of December! Megaverse is run by friend of the PageantCast, Liinda Grandia. You may know Liinda as the director of Miss Multiverse and Miss Power Woman. We’ve had some of her contestants on the show in the past, such as Yolandi Franken, Miss Multiverse Australia 2016, and Siria Ysabel Bojorquez, Miss Multiverse 2016, and Elvira Fernandez Ocaña, Ms. Power Woman.

Against Big NFL Competition and the Impact of Hurricane Irma,
Growing Year Over Year With Women 18-34

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (September 13, 2017) – “The 2018 Miss

America Competition” (9:00-11:00 p.m. – 5.6 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49): On a night where millions of viewers lost electricity due to Hurricane Irma and opposite big NFL-fueled competition from the season opener of NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” (New York Giants-Dallas Cowboys) and Fox’s NFL overrun-inflated lineup with the highly promoted series debut of “The Orville,” ABC’s Sunday 9:00-11:00 p.m. broadcast of “The 2018 Miss America Competition” built on its lead-in and surged by 1.3 million viewers (5.0 million to 6.3 million) and 18% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/3 to 1.3/5) from its first half-hour to its final half-hour.During its final half-hour from 10:30-11:00 p.m. as Miss North Dakota Cara Mund was crowned, “The Miss America Competition” pulled in 6.3 million viewers and a 1.3 rating, 5 share with young adults. ABC stood as the No. 1 non-sports network in the 2-hour time slot with Total Viewers (5.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.2/4).

• In Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, “The 2018 Miss America Competition” attracted ABC’s best numbers in the 2-hour time period in 3 months – 6/11/17.

• Despite the extraordinary weather circumstances and competition, “The Miss America Competition” retained nearly all of its year-ago results with Total Viewers (89%) and Adults 18-49 (92%), while holding 100% in Adults 18-34 and growing 8% in Women 18-34.
